Administration, management & governance of Shri Shiv
Khori Shrine & its endowments including land &
buildings, donations & offerings has been vested in an
autonomous Board namely "Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board"
Ransoo constituted by J&K Government
on 19th December 2003. The Board was set up vide
Government order No. 4220-LD (Leg) of 2003 dated
9th December 2003. The Deputy Commissioner
Udhampur is the ex-officio Chairman & Sub
Divisional Magistrate Reasi is the ex-officio Member
Secretary of the Board. MLA Reasi is also
Ex-officio member of the board.
The day to day administration of the Shrine Complex is being
looked after by the Member Secretary of the board in
consultation with the Chairman. Manager SSKSB assists the Member
Secretary in management. Sufficient numbers of SKCs, Sahaykas
and Supervisors has been engaged by the Shrine Board for day to
day maintenance of the Shrine complex and track.
Within a short span of time since its establishment, the board
has made tremendous progress as can be seen from the providing
amenities to the pilgrims and the constructions of various
buildings.
